How Waachy handles information across its app and this website.
01 — Information you choose to share
Your account can contain an email address, name, username, biography, profile photo and cover image. Your activity can include watch history, episode progress, likes, saved titles, lists, reviews, replies, follows and viewing preferences. Apple sign-in may provide a private relay email address.
02 — Why the app uses information
Waachy uses this information to operate accounts, sync your library, show your profile and social activity, support private shared-choice rooms, personalise recommendations and deliver notifications you enable.
03 — Accounts, purchases and providers
Supabase supports authentication, databases and photo storage. Apple supports Apple sign-in and App Store payments. RevenueCat verifies subscription access. Brevo delivers account emails. Catalogue providers and catalogue translation services supply film and series information. Apple processes App Store payment details; Waachy does not receive your full payment-card details.
04 — Public and private areas
Profile details and content you publish, such as reviews and social posts, can be visible to other users according to the app’s visibility and blocking rules. Do not include private information in public posts. Private shared items and rooms are governed by membership and access controls.
05 — Notifications and device information
If you enable notifications, the app stores delivery tokens and notification preferences, including language and device timezone. You can change notification settings in Waachy and in your device settings. Operational records may be used for security and service reliability.
06 — Keeping and deleting information
Account information is kept to provide the features you use. You can request permanent account deletion inside the app. Some transaction, security or backup records may remain with service providers under their applicable retention obligations. The publisher’s final retention details will be completed before public launch.
07 — This website
This site is a static introduction to Waachy. It has no account login, payment form, advertising tracker or analytics SDK. Feature previews run locally in your browser and do not save activity to your Waachy account. Hosting infrastructure may process technical requests, such as IP address and browser information, for delivery and security.
08 — Your choices
You can update your profile and viewing preferences, control notifications and delete your account in the app. Contact details for privacy requests and the publisher’s identity will be added before launch. Requests and rights depend on applicable law.
